Nivana (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent way. This page explains what we collect, what we don’t, and how you can control your data.

1) Your personal content stays private

The content of your journal entries is personal and sensitive. It is stored securely on your device and is never uploaded to our servers or included in analytics. We can’t read your journal entries.

2) AI content generation

When you generate a meditation/affirmation, we send only the settings you choose (e.g., goal, duration, voice) and the generated script to our secure AI/voice partners. This is anonymized and kept separate from your account identity and journal.

3) Authentication & account data

If you sign in, we process your email and a unique user ID (via Firebase Authentication) to secure your account and manage premium status. If you later subscribe on the web, our payment partner (e.g., Stripe, Lemon Squeezy) will process billing details; we don’t store full card numbers.

4) Your choices

• Request account deletion by emailing us (see below).
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.

5) Data processors we rely on

• Firebase (Auth, optional Analytics/Crashlytics)
• Payment processor for subscriptions (when enabled)
• AI/voice providers for generated content

6) Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time. Some records (e.g., payment) may be kept where required by law.

7) Children

Nivana is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us.

8) Changes

If we make significant changes, we’ll update this page and may notify you in-app.
